Time Home Buyer Program has two goals:
- Provide first time homebuyers the extra time, attention and
service that makes the closing process that much easier; and
- Save first time homebuyers hundreds of dollars from their closing
costs.
Lower Closing Costs and Personal Service
$100.00 Mortgage Credit
Best and Best, PLLC has teamed with participating banks that are
committed to helping first time homebuyers. These institutions
will find the best loans to fit your needs. Each bank has loan
officers who will take the time to assess your particular needs
and find a mortgage product that is right for you. In addition,
each participating bank will provide Program participants a minimum
$100.00 credit to be applied to closing costs.
Reduced Title Insurance Rate
Another partner of Best and Best, PLLC in the First Time Home
Buyer Program is Old North State Title, Ltd.
In addition to providing impeccable client service both before
and after the closing, Old North State will provide Program participants
title insurance at $0.75 per $1,000 of the purchase price and loan.
Typical title insurance rates are $2.00 per $1,000, so the savings
offered by Old North State are truly extraordinary. Old North State
writes its policies with major national title insurance companies
and provides friendly, hands-on customer service.
$100.00 Attorney’s Fee Credit
Finally, because of the ease of working with the participating
lenders and Old North State, Best and Best, PLLC is proud to offer
a $100.00 reduction in the base attorney’s fee for all first
time home buyers.
Prior to the closing, you and your Realtor® may meet with
a member of the firm to ensure that all your questions are answered.
Your file will be assigned to one staff member who will be available
to you by telephone or email prior to your closing. Your attorney
will be available prior to closing as well to assist you. Needless
to say, your attorney will perform the closing and spend the necessary
time reviewing your closing statement, title documents and loan
documents. After closing, both the attorneys and staff are available
to assist you in whatever capacity you may need.
